Dignity Period is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping Ethiopian girls stay in school by providing much needed menstrual education and supplies. To learn more about how we support our mission, visit the About Us, Your Donation at Work, and Impact & Reach pages.

How can I get involved or help with the mission?

The most impactful support comes from sharing our story, donating funds, and hosting events.

We do not currently offer internships through our organization.

If I’m traveling to Ethiopia, would Dignity Period like to sponsor me in my work?

We do not currently sponsor trips, research, or other initiatives for individuals or groups outside of the Dignity Period organization or partner organizations.

Does Dignity Period make their menstruation supplies or purchase them?

Our pad kits are purchased from the Mariam Seba Sanitary Products Factory in Ethiopia.  You can learn more about Freweini Mebrahtu, the factory owner, and her business here.

How are the pads made?

Pads are made with a quality cotton lining and have a waterproof backing.

How can I/my organization purchase those pads?

Contact Dignity Period at info@dignityperiod.org to learn more.

Are your menstruation educational materials available via donation or purchase?

Currently, our educational materials are only available for Dignity Period program outreach, which is managed by Mekelle University.
