Happy International Women's Day! The theme for this year's IWD is #embraceequity2023 We are passionate about embracing menstrual equity. What is menstrual equity? Menstrual equity combats both period poverty and stigma. It refers to the affordability, accessibility and safety of menstrual products. But menstrual equity is not just defined by products — it is also about education and reproductive care. Dignity Period focuses on each of these key elements in the effort to improve menstrual equity. On this International Women's Day, join us in supporting equity!
You can donate using this QR code. For every donation of $12.50 we can provide a Dignity Period kit consisting of four washable / reusable pads doing our part to embrace menstrual equity.
Thank you to the amazing volunteers that came out to pack Dignity Period Pad Kits! We were able to pack 850 kits for the greater St. Louis community. Our washable / reusable kits are the sustainable alternative to disposable products and can last for 12+ months. Those 850 kits equal 240,000 disposable products over the course of 12 months! Our next volunteer event will be Tuesday, April 18th. We hope you can join us!
Save the date for the Dignity Period Monster Mash Trivia Night! Help us scare away period poverty and join us on Saturday, October 14th for a spooktacular night of trivia. Tables will seat 8. Registration will open mid-April.
