10,000 washable / reusable Dignity Period Kits delivered in the greater St. Louis community, equaling 2.4 million disposable products
5,000 washable / reusable Dignity Period Kits delivered to the greater Seattle community through a new partnership with Compass Health, equaling 1.2 million disposable products
Ethiopian team members delivered kits and provided menstrual hygiene education again to Tigray area schools with a goal of reaching 40,000 students in the coming year.

When we discovered that 2 out of 3 low-income women surveyed in St. Louis couldn't afford monthly menstrual hygiene supplies, we knew it wasn't an anomaly. So we began to look for the next place we could make a difference, and the answer was clear: Seattle. With board members from the Seattle professional community, we had a way to grow local support and establish distribution partners.
Our pads are still made by our wonderful friends at The Collective Thread, then shipped to Seattle where we put together our Dignity Period Kits and Compass Health - NW Washington distributes them to people in need. We can't wait to make a difference for those who menstruate in Seattle.
THANK YOU for all the ways you support Dignity Period as we have resumed operations in Ethiopia. Our dedicated team at Mekelle University stayed the course through the pandemic and heartbreaking conflict to provide menstrual hygiene supplies when and where we could. We are thrilled to begin our full programming again in 2024 in partnership with the Mariam Seba Sanitary Products Factory and Mekelle University.
